New Vice President – Tubular Manufacturing

We are pleased to announce that Jim Larkin has accepted the position of Vice President of Tubular Manufacturing.

 

In his new position, Jim will oversee and direct the manufacturing of steel line pipe both ERW and LSAW. His responsibilities will include overseeing both Steelton and McKeesport facilities.

 

Having joined Dura-Bond Pipe in November of 2007 as the Steelton plant engineer, Jim gained responsibilities in 2009 as General Manager of Pipe Manufacturing.  Prior to joining Dura-Bond Pipe, Jim spent 8 years as Chief Engineer of Hydroform Technology Development at the Dana Corp in Reading, PA. Before moving to Pennsylvania, he worked for 8 years as senior product engineer in the medical equipment field.

Jim holds a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from State University of New York.

Jim and wife Julie have 5 children and reside in the Hershey area.  His hobbies include skiing, attending youth sports and working on cars.

Jim has proven his abilities and leadership skills at the Steelton plant that recently completed the largest project that was ever produced in its history.  It was completed on time with a high degree of quality and productivity.  This type of performance was not an accident but rather the result of knowledge, dedication and commitment.
